Paws to Read
Read with a therapy dog! Kids ages 5-10 are welcome to bring a favorite book and practice their reading skills with a registered therapy pet. This takes the pressure off the child and allows them to enjoy the experience of reading aloud while sharpening their skills at the same time.
Teen Questing Guild
It's Multiverse May-hem! Battle mixed-up monsters and try to escape a multidimensional dungeon! Registration is required. For grades 5-12. Characters will be pre-generated. Teens will get 20 Library Bucks for attending! Contact Youth Services Specialist Corlan McCollum at cmccollum@avonlibrary.net with any questions.
