Celebrating Avon

All are welcome to join us at our Annual Celebrating Avon Festival at the Avon-Washington Township Public Library! This is a free, family-friendly event that is open to the public. Celebrating Avon takes place inside the library and outside in the lawn and parking lot. There will be music, food, a petting zoo, games, a “Pioneer Path” featuring artisans who will teach us about their crafts, tractors, model trains, a K9 demonstration, a giant slide, and of course a candy drop by Hendricks Power Cooperative! We will Ring the bell to kick-off the event at 11 a.m.

The Annual Celebrating Avon event takes place both inside and outside of the library. There will be so many things to see and do at this year’s event including a petting zoo, the pioneer path featuring local and regional artisans, a candy drop, an inflatable slide, games, music, and even model trains! You also won’t want to miss a K9 demonstration put on by the Avon Police Department and a candy drop sponsored by Hendricks Power Cooperative!   This event is free and open to the public. Food will be available for purchase, as well as arts and crafts from local and regional artisans.
